Project Management for Non-Project Managers

Managing a project takes emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills, and a mindset that’s organized but adaptable. You need impeccable communication to get across a project’s expectations and structure. These will vary based on your project methodology. A waterfall framework is linear and sequential, with extensive pre-planning and documentation, and little room for deviation. Agile moves quickly and collaboratively, with small teams led by scrum masters, and limited ability to scale. Most teams will need a combination of both project management structures.
